Kinroad+motorcycle manufacturers

Focus on the engine displacement (cc) and cooling system (air vs. liquid) to match your market's terrain. Ensure the braking system utilizes front and rear hydraulic discs for safety compliance. Additionally, verify the fuel tank capacity and fuel consumption rates, as these are primary selling points for end-users looking for economic efficiency.

For the European market, motorcycles must have EEC/COC (Certificate of Conformity) and meet Euro 5 emission standards. For the US market, EPA and DOT certification is required. Always request ISO 9001:2015 certification from the manufacturer to ensure consistent production quality and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) transparency.

Request details on the frame material and welding process; high-strength steel with robotic welding offers superior structural integrity. Check the suspension type (e.g., inverted front forks) and ensure the tires are E-mark or DOT certified. For off-road models, prioritize reinforced shock absorbers and anti-corrosion coating on the exhaust system.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer customized branding (logo placement), color scheme adjustments, and component upgrades (such as LED lighting or digital dashboards). For large orders, you can often negotiate specific tire treads or upgraded battery brands to suit local climate conditions.

The main risks are physical damage during transit and battery/fuel leakage issues. Mitigate this by requiring CKD (Completely Knocked Down) or SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) packaging in reinforced iron crates. Ensure the supplier provides a Non-Hazardous Liquid/Battery Declaration to avoid customs delays or shipping rejections.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. A standard B2B payment structure is 30% T/T deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L). Avoid full upfront payments for new suppliers and always conduct a third-party factory audit before transferring large sums.

For bulk orders, Sea Freight (FCL - Full Container Load) is the most cost-effective method. Ensure the supplier is familiar with Incoterms 2020 (preferably FOB or CIF). If you are importing to a landlocked region, inquire about multimodal transport (Sea-Rail). Always verify the HS Code (typically 8711) to calculate accurate import duties and taxes in your destination country.

Negotiate a 1-2% free spare parts kit (filters, spark plugs, cables) to be included in the initial container. Confirm the supplier's parts availability guarantee for at least 5 years post-production. Establish a clear protocol for warranty claims, requiring the supplier to provide video troubleshooting and express shipping for defective critical components.
