China iphone factory manufacturers

When sourcing from a factory, you must distinguish between Refurbished (Grade A/B/C), Used, and OEM-compatible units. Ensure the factory uses Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for critical components like the Logic Board and Retina Display. For refurbished units, verify that the Battery Health is above 85-90% and that the Face ID/Touch ID functions are fully operational, as these are common failure points in non-certified repairs.

Request the IMEI numbers for a sample batch to check the activation status and lock status (ensure they are Network Unlocked and iCloud Clear). Professional factories should provide a PhoneCheck or NSYS report, which are industry-standard third-party diagnostic tools that verify hardware authenticity and functional integrity. Ensure the housing and glass meet high-grade aesthetic standards with no visible scratches for Grade A stock.

To import these devices legally, the factory must provide CE (for Europe), FCC (for USA), and RoHS certifications. Additionally, since iPhones contain lithium batteries, the supplier must provide UN38.3 and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) reports to comply with international air and sea freight safety regulations.

A professional sourcing process must include a 100% functional test covering: Signal strength (5G/LTE), Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, Camera focus and OIS, Microphone/Speaker clarity, and Charging port stability. For bulk buyers, a failure rate (RMA) of less than 2% is the industry benchmark for high-quality sourcing.

Always use Secure Payment Services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer escrow-like protection. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. For large orders, consider a Letter of Credit (L/C) or a payment structure that releases the final 70% only after a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek.

Sourcing branded goods like iPhones carries a high risk of Customs Seizure if the supplier is not authorized or if the paperwork is incorrect. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states the condition (e.g., 'Used Mobile Phone' or 'Refurbished') and that the supplier has experience with Customs Clearance for branded electronics to avoid 'counterfeit' flags.

Negotiate a 12-month warranty period. Since shipping individual units back to China is costly, agree on a 'Spare Parts' credit (e.g., 1-2% extra units or screens provided for free) or a local repair reimbursement scheme. Ensure the contract specifies that Motherboard failures are the supplier's full responsibility.

Use Specialized Electronics Forwarders who handle Class 9 Dangerous Goods (Lithium Batteries). For high-value iPhones, Air Freight with Insurance is mandatory. Ensure the packaging uses Anti-static bubble bags and individual boxes within a reinforced master carton to prevent physical damage and theft during transit.
